Recreating the real sound of the music of the time using original scores and old musical instruments, the Orchestra presents its listeners is unique in its kind program dedicated to the "great giants" of jazz orchestra like Paul Whiteman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Jimmy Lunsford, Benny Goodman, Dizzy Gillespie, Claude Thornhill, and many others!

The composition of the Big Jazz Orchestra includes young talents in music, students and graduates of leading music schools in Russia (Russian Academy of Music and Moscow state Conservatory by Tchaikovsky), soloists of the leading jazz big bands of Moscow, winners of numerous jazz competitions and festivals. The orchestra was created by jazz singer Daria Antonova and trumpeter Pyotr Vostokov.
The orchestra debuted in October 2010 at the Central house of Journalists in Moscow. And in April 2011 he received the Grand Prix at the international competition of young performers "Usadba jazz".
